What stays in your browser.
The public website’s own scripts do not set cookies. Optional analytics are disabled. A local privacy preference can be saved if you use Privacy choices.
The privacy preference
The privacy control uses localStorage, a browser storage mechanism distinct from cookies. Its key is skillwick.optional-analytics.v1. The value contains a version, page-usage and public-button choices, and the time the choice was saved. It does not contain a persistent visitor identifier, assessment content or invitation token.
The preference is valid for up to 180 days. On a later visit, the control discards an expired or invalid value when it reads it. LocalStorage does not run an automatic deletion clock while your browser is closed, so an unused expired entry may remain on the device until read or cleared.
With analytics disabled, saving the panel records optional purposes as off. Refusing optional analytics does not block the website. If browser storage is unavailable, the controls can keep the choice in page memory instead.
Change or remove a preference
Where Privacy choices is shown, open it to reject optional analytics or save your choices again. You can also use your browser’s site-data settings to clear storage for skillwick.com. Clearing all site data may also remove cached website files; your browser explains the available controls.
The control respects Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. These override optional tracking choices. They do not prevent the technical requests needed to load a webpage.
The public illustration
The selected transfer destination, investigation stage and motion toggle live in page memory. They are not saved as assessment results. Reloading starts the illustration again, and the motion setting follows the device’s reduced-motion preference when the page opens.
Hosting & external services
Cloudflare delivers and protects the site and may handle technical request information. Browser caching can store local copies of images and styles. Neither is a reason to treat a website visit as involving no data processing. Read our privacy notice for the hosting context.
A prepared PostHog integration is inactive, with no capture token configured. Current delivery policy also blocks outbound analytics connections. Before any activation, the operator must resolve the retention policy, update the relevant information and provide a valid optional choice. See Website details.
